We are going potty!
Why are we going potty? The Salisbury Museum moved into its present home at the beginning of the 1980’s. Previously the building had been a teacher training college, so it took some time to turn it into a museum. The public toilets, so perfect in 1980, are now in serious need of updating. How can you help? We are in need of a total of £30,000 to refurbish and improve accessibility to the Ladies, Gents and Disabled toilets. Launching on 19 November, #WorldToiletDay we are starting a fundraising campaign. So whether it is a penny, a pound or quantities of either, your money would help us totally transform our facilities into 21st century ones. You can give in person at the museum - look out for the potty donation box, or through the crowdfunding website HERE
Don't hesitate! We have until 24 December to raise £10,000 of our target on the crowdfunder website so please make your pledges soon.
If you are at the museum, why not try our 'Potty Art Trail'. Every £1 donated goes towards improving the toilets.
We are hugely grateful for your support.
