Paul Kidby is best known for being the ‘artist of choice’ for award-winning writer, the late Sir Terry Pratchett, who passed away in 2015.  Paul has designed the ‘Discworld’ book jackets since 2002 and has illustrated many ‘Discworld’ publications including ‘The Art of Discworld’ and best-selling ‘The Last Hero’. In this illustrated talk Paul will talk about how he became a leading fantasy artist and his past working relationship with the author.  He will also show a selection of his pencil and colour artwork and discuss the creative process of designing and illustrating Discworld. The talk ends with an opportunity to ask Paul your own questions about his life as an artist.
