Landscape Open 2026: Call for Entries

Salisbury Museum is now accepting entries for the Landscape Open 2026, an exhibition celebrating contemporary approaches to landscape in all forms.

Artists of any medium are invited to submit work that explores, depicts, or challenges the theme of landscape. Submissions are welcomed from the UK and internationally.

Approximately 75 works will be selected for the group exhibition. The winning artist will receive £1,000 and a solo exhibition at Salisbury Museum. Students are also eligible for a Student Mentoring Prize, while all entrants can compete for the People’s Choice Award.

Entry Details:

  • Submit up to 3 works in any medium, including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, moving image, print, and textiles.
  • Size limits: 2D framed works max 2.4m any dimension; 3D max 50cm longest side; moving image max 10 minutes. Weight limit 18kg.
  • Submission fee: Standard: £17–£45; Student: £15–£39.
  • Deadline: 20 August 2026, 5:00pm BST.
