Archaeological Illustration Workshop

As part of the Festival of Archaeology this year, join illustrator Jemma McCardle for a hands-on workshop exploring the fundamentals of archaeological illustration.

Guided by Jemma, you’ll learn essential techniques including accurate measuring, recording shape and texture, and professional labelling methods. Working with a curated selection of artefacts from the museum archive, you’ll create your own detailed and visually engaging archaeological illustration to take home.
