Kids Go Free @ The Salisbury Museum

There will be lots of free stuff to do too. Pick up an activity pack from reception and do a bug safari through the museum or a minibeast hunt in the back garden. There’s dressing up and colouring in and big outdoor games. You can even bring your own picnic to enjoy on the back lawn.

We’ve been growing lots of different plants in the museum gardens to attract bugs and insects. We currently have our Insect Odyssey exhibition on display and in 2024 we’ll have a new gallery devoted to natural history, looking at what happens to wildlife as a result of climate change. You can help us now by letting us know what you’ve spotted on your minibeast hunt – hand in your sheet at reception and we’ll update the ‘recent sightings’ board!
