The talk on 22 June has sold out, so Tristan has very kindly agreed to give a second talk!

Join us for a second opportunity to spend an afternoon, in the company of Tristan de Vere Cole, who will be talking about his personal memories of Augustus John. Tristan was largely brought up in the John household, and sat for Augustus John many times. The talk will be illustrated with slides of Augustus John’s paintings, drawings, etchings, sculptures and photos – many from Tristan’s own collection. Following the talk, Tristan will be signing copies of his book ‘The Last Bastard’. Included in the ticket price are tea and biscuits after the talk, and the opportunity to visit the Augustus John: Drawn from Life exhibition.
