MATTHEW DEAN draw a line.

Saturday, July 19, 2025

to Sunday, January 4, 2026

10am – 5pm

Walking the countryside near his home in Salisbury Wiltshire, Matthew makes small 3-to-5-minute sketches and then takes them back to his studio. Transforming those en plein air drawings he develops them into oil paintings and refined drawings. These paintings and drawings often have further information added to them by researching the surrounding areas, using OS maps, aerial views and looking at the topography.

Body of work from 2023 to 2025
