Mrs Fowler

1885

A framed oil painting by Henry Brooks, showing Mrs Fowler.

Married to one of the founders of Salisbury Museum, Dr Richard Fowler, Mrs Fowler became more heavily involved with the museum following the death of her husband, in 1863.

This oval half-length portrait was one of a pair, the other showing her husband.
