Volunteering at Salisbury Museum

If you would like more information about volunteering at Salisbury Museum, please take a look at the Volunteer Hub section of this page. By clicking ‘learn more’ you will be taken to our Volunteer Hub website where you can find out about what it means to be a museum volunteer and complete an application form. Please make sure that you state which role/roles you are applying for in your application.

Applications now welcome for the position of Volunteer Librarian. The librarian oversees the day-to-day operation of the museum library, helping ensure that the library is well organised and accessible for museum staff, volunteers and authorised researchers. They are assisted by a small team of assistant library volunteers. The close date is Friday, 14th November with interviews scheduled for the following week.

We are also actively seeking to recruit volunteers to join our Engagement Team. Please click the link embedded in the title of the role to read the role description. We are particularly keen to welcome applicants to the Engagement role with weekend availability.

If you have any queries or concerns about registration, please email the Volunteer Coordinator, Kate Douglas at katedouglas@salisburymuseum.org.uk or call 01722 332151.
