Wedgwood Emile Lessore Tazza

1858 – 1876

Wedgwood employed the French artist Emile Lessore between to decorate selected pieces, such as this tazza (saucer-shaped bowl) with his own designs, hand-painted in enamel colours.

Acquired with the financial assistance of MGC/V&A Purchase Grant Fund and The National Art Collections Fund.
