Following a recent assessment, we are thrilled to announce that VisitEngland have awarded the museum with it’s highest accolade of Gold Standard. The Past Forward development project was a significant contributing factor to the decision, with the project cited as:
‘Transforming the museum into a ‘Gold’ standard ‘must-see’ attraction in Salisbury’.
Further, the assessment concluded:
‘The museum is a true treasure trove for anyone fascinated by history, archaeology, and art. Nestled
in the shadow of the iconic Salisbury Cathedral, it perfectly blends local history and prominent
exhibitions’.
