WORKSHOP: Botanical pottery workshop for wellbeing

Saturday, November 21, 2026

SOLD OUT

10am – 4pm

A relaxed, creative botanical pottery workshop inspired by the changing season and the ceramic collection at Salisbury Museum. Hand-build your own ceramic jug and decorate it with botanical impressions using seasonal leaves, seed heads and foliage, or carve or stamp meaningful words into the clay.

At the end of the workshop choose from a selection of glazes for your finished piece – which will be returned to the museum for collection after being glazed and fired (approximately 6 weeks later).

This workshop will be led by Dorset-based ceramic artist Tania Ware of Wild Fern Studio. No previous pottery experience is needed and all materials will be provided – just come along and enjoy creating something unique by hand.

Please be aware that lunch is not provided.

This course is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund
