Discovery Day ~ May half term ‘Land Art’

Tuesday, May 27, 2025

This May half term’s Discovery Day is a day combining art and mindful reflection.

We are turning to nature for our artistic inspiration, as well as being inspired by British land artist Andy Goldsworthy.

Working in a mindful way inspired by the making of mandalas we will be using the simple elegance of objects found in nature to create transient art to compliment the beauty of the natural environment.

The artworks made by you will live on as an image taken on your mobile phone, while the materials themselves are swept away to re-join the natural environment.
