May Half Term Studio Takeover – Animals in Art

Saturday, May 24, 2025

to Sunday, June 1, 2025

10am – 5pm

Every half term our new ground floor creative space gets taken over by you! Filled with dressing up, building blocks, a mini puppet theatre , a cosy book corner and more, the Studio will be open to all ages to stay and play during your museum visit.

This May Half term we spring crafts and animal art activities, taking inspiration from the animal sculptures and drawings by Elisabeth Frink and other artists.

Make your own flapping butterfly, add a piece to our giant horse collage, colour and craft animal pictures, and more!

And don’t forget to pick up our Elisabeth Frink Children’s Trail during your visit to find all of the animals hiding in the exhibition.
