Studio Theatre and Salisbury Museum Presents: ‘The Bluestocking and The Shepherdess: Bloomsbury Life at Ham Spray

Wednesday, June 3, 2026

to Friday, June 5, 2026

7pm

Weekends in Wiltshire with Carrington, Lytton, Ralph and Frances. From 1924 to 1960, Dora Carrington and Frances Partridge were the chatelaines of Ham Spray House, a mid-Victorian farmhouse nestled in the countryside just east of the village of Ham. What went on there from Bloomsbury-style interior decoration to visits from writers, painters, sculptors – and film-makers – was all recorded by the ladies themselves in their letters and diaries.

This event is located on the first floor and is fully accessible by stairs or lift.
