The Annual Clarendon Lecture 2022: The Chapels of Clarendon Palace

The Chapels of Clarendon Palace and the Medieval Kings – The Annual Clarendon Lecture, from Dr Cindy Wood.

Medieval Kings travelled with an entourage that includes the Chapel Royal, priests and choir boys who fulfilled the spiritual needs of the royal family.

This lecture will look at the surviving evidence for the chapels at Clarendon Palace, at evidence for contemporary parallels and will explore the ways in which the royal visitors experienced religion on this site.

The lecture will be given by Dr Cindy Wood, Senior Lecturer at the University of Winchester, and held in the lecture hall at The Salisbury Museum.

6:30pm Drinks; 7pm Lecture

Tickets £12 or £9 for Friends of Clarendon Palace and Museum Members (please bring your friends/membership card for verification on the evening).

Tickets include a pre-talk glass of wine.
