Walk: In the Footsteps of Pitt Rivers

Saturday, June 29, 2024 

Join museum Director Adrian Green on a circular walk on Cranborne Chase visiting the sites excavated by General Pitt Rivers.

This 6 mile walk will start at Win Green Hill and follow the Ox Drove towards Winkelbury before cutting through the Rushmore Estate to Tollard Royal. After lunch (not included) and exploring the church we will return to Win Green via a steep climb out of Ashcombe.
