WORKSHOP: Nature journalling for wellbeing

Wednesday, November 11, 2026

10am-3pm

Design, make and use your own nature journal, informed by the work of artists and scientists from throughout history. Explore the local environment to collect natural materials and experiment with a range of media to record them in your journal.

The workshop will be led by artist James Aldridge. No previous experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. Come and be creative in a friendly and supportive environment.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a short local walk. If severe weather prevents walking, then a range of natural materials will be provided to work from indoors instead.

Please be aware that lunch is not provided.

This course is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund
