Young Curators Club – October with musician Emily Askew

Saturday, October 26, 2024

Young Curator’s Club goes into Autumn with a musical fanfare!

We are excited to have musician Emily Askew joining us in October.

Multi-instrumentalist Emily will be bringing along just some of her amazing collection of musical instruments. Young Curators will get to hear all about the many and varied instruments which Emily plays, as well as experience this venerated musician playing.

The session will of course include opportunity for the young curators to add to the musical fun, creating for the day, the museum’s very own mini orchestra!

Young Curators Club is a club for 6 – 12 year olds  and meets once a month, usually the last Saturday.

The club explore all sorts of museum themes in a fun and educational way, with no two sessions the same!

Places need to be booked in advance and each child must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Session runs 10.30am – 12.30pm
