Exclusive new addition to Rex Whistler Exhibition
Currently featured in our summer exhibition ‘Rex Whistler: The Artists and his Patrons‘ , exclusively on display until 9 July is a gentleman’s 18ct gold half hunter pocket watch, c1905 and engraved to the inside case ‘ To his Grandson Rex Whistler’ ‘To his brother Laurence Whistler’, lent by Woolley and Wallis ahead of its sale at auction on 10 July, almost 80 years to the week of Rex’s death in action in the Second World War.
