Rena Gardiner is best remembered for her guidebooks to historic places. This exhibition celebrates her passion for history, architecture and the countryside.
From 1 April 2017 we will stop selling the £8 annual pass. Visitors who would like free entry to the museum for one year will need to become members.
The King’s House Café offers a highly personalised service, with home cooking ranging from morning bites to a light lunch. There is a daily specials board and plenty of homemade cakes for those afternoon teas.
Funding from Arts Council England and the Pilgrim Trust has helped us to create an online collections database. This contains items from our nationally important Pitt-Rivers collection.
